Claire & Olivia Granson have been passionate about fitness for as long as they were allowed in a gym. Now they have partnered together to bring personal training and fitness right to your home. They each bring a unique style to any session.

Fitness has always been a part of Claire’s life. Whether through sports or exercise, she has always managed to keep busy.

Claire’s favourite sport has always been soccer, and she has been playing it for more than 20 years. She has also played football, slo-pitch baseball and field hockey and she loves running. Even though she is a trainer, Claire still loves joining group fitness classes and has recently been participating in hot yoga.

Claire graduated from the University of Lethbridge with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. In this time she became a Certified Personal Trainer through the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology (CSEP-CPT). This background has given her the knowledge of how the human body works and how to utilize exercise to improve health.

Claire’s main goal in creating Embody Fitness was to reach out to people who might not feel comfortable in a gym. Her focus is to help others reach their goals and feel good about themselves. This will result in a healthier and happier community.

As someone who grew up in an extremely active household, Olivia Granson has always had a passion for fitness. From basketball and long distance running to yoga and dance she thinks of fitness as a positive way to exert energy and feel efficacious about one’s health.

Olivia finds helping others learn more about their body and why health is important can make a huge difference in not only their own lives but also in those who surround them. Being active creates a more positive and energetic atmosphere, this allows for a more complete outlook on life. Staying in shape is not only for looking good (although that is definitely one of the benefits!) it is to understand our own bodies and know what we need to introduce and maintain a healthy balanced lifestyle.

Working with a trainer is an excellent way to stay motivated and have fun while getting in and staying in shape! There is nothing better than someone cheering you on during an awesome, heart-pounding, hard-breathing workout! Working with clients is just as much a pleasure for Olivia as it is anyone of her various clients, no matter if it is their first workout or if they’ve been working out for years. Having fun is a must with Olivia Granson and it will be with you too!
